Samsung Galaxy S23/Ultra will support Google Quick Pair

According to a new report from 9to5google, the latest update to Google’s Quick Pairing service includes new code that refers to setting up new phones, specifically the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.

IT Home understands that Google Quick Match is a service,Easily pair headphones like the Pixel Buds or any WearOS smartwatch (such as the Pixel Watch) to any android cell phonebut this update apparently changed the following:

“Setting up the Galaxy S23 Ultra

First, you will scan the QR code displayed on your new device”

This suggests that when an Android phone is brought near a device that hasn’t been set up, it will prompt in a similar fashion to a headset or watch, however, this won’t directly replace any proprietary apps that, for example, the Samsung Smart Switch will prompt Users download these apps to simplify the process.

The above indicates that this new fast pairing feature will support the Samsung Galaxy S23 series of phones, which will be revealed at Samsung’s annual Unpacked event on February 2.
