Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will significantly improve portrait video shooting, sources say



IT House reported on January 25 that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will be released on February 2. Samsung is bringing higher-quality video capture to its upcoming high-end phones.

Digital blogger @i冰宇宙 revealed that the portrait video shooting quality of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be significantly improved, and Samsung’s next-generation flagship smartphone can record 4K@30fps portrait videos. That’s much better than the 1080p@30fps video the Galaxy S22 Ultra can capture. It was previously reported that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series can record 8K@30fps video.

It was revealed that,Samsung improves not only the resolution, but also the background separation and background blur quality in the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s portrait video mode. It’s unclear if all of these improvements are limited to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, or if other models in the S23 lineup also boast better portrait video quality.

The whistleblower also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra also has a good thermal management system, which can provide relatively good sustained performance. IT Home understands that all Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra devices sold globally will be equipped with an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
