Nokia expects sales to rise in 2023 amid strong demand

“2023 is expected to be another year of growth,” Nokia CEO Pekka Lundmark said on a media call.

Financial data shows Nokia’s fourth-quarter comparable operating profitFrom 908 million euros last year (currently about 6.71 billion yuan) to 1.15 billion euros(currently about 8.498 billion yuan), exceeding analysts’ average forecast of 924.6 million euros (currently about 6.833 billion yuan).

In a statement, Lundmark said: “Looking forward to 2023, while we note uncertainty about the economic outlook, demand remains strong.”

In addition, Nokia expects full-year net sales to be between 24.9 billion euros (currently approximately 184.011 billion yuan) and 26.5 billion euros (currently approximately 195.835 billion yuan),Growth of 2% to 8% year-on-year at constant exchange rates; analysts expect 25.5 billion euros (currently about 188.445 billion yuan).

“Of course, our goal is to capture market share, and I believe that’s exactly what’s happening,” Lundmark said on the call.
