Lenovo releases four 2023 Chromebook education laptops: one with an Intel Core i3-N305 chip



IT House news on January 26, Lenovo launched the latest Chromebook laptops for the education market, from the entry-level Lenovo 100e Chromebook Gen 4 with a MediaTek Kompanio 520 processor and 11.6-inch HD display to the Lenovo 500e Yoga Chromebook Gen 4 laptop The higher-end model, which features a 12.2-inch FHD screen, an Intel Alder Lake-N processor, and supports stylus and touch input.

Lenovo also has a new 14-inch Lenovo 14e Chromebook Gen 2, one of the first laptops to support the 15W Intel Core i3-N305 octa-core processor. Lenovo says it will start offering four new education Chromebooks in the first quarter of 2023.

IT Home learned that,All of Lenovo’s new laptops support WiFi 6 connectivity, and some models also support WiFi 6E or 4G LTE. They all have webcams with privacy shutters, and Yoga-branded models with 360-degree hinges also offer an optional 5MP “world-facing” camera above the keyboard, allowing students to take photos or videos when the screen is flipped to use tablet mode.

These ChromeBooks feature 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR4x memory and 32GB or 64GB of eMMC storage, or up to 8GB of LPDDR5 memory and 128GB of eMMC storage.

Lenovo’s new Chromebooks are designed for classroom use, but these ChromeOS laptops are also expected to be available at retail.
