Getting a PSN error while playing your favorite games on your PlayStation console is the worst feeling in life. These can be server-side issues or user-side issues that most often appear when the header is rendered. Players were experiencing the “Unable to connect to the server to verify your license” error when accessing Hogwarts Legacy. Here are some possible solutions to the problem.

Turns out the issue here is related to the server not being able to verify your PlayStation Network license. To resolve this issue, go to Settings > Account Management > Restore Licenses. Wait for the recovery process to complete, then turn off your PlayStation console for about half a minute. Reboot your device and your issue should be resolved.

Some users reported that the license recovery process was not completed. Instead, they received another PSN error named WS-116521-6. If you are facing the same problem, don’t worry because there is another way to solve it. All you have to do is reset your PlayStation console’s internet connection settings and restart your device after a minute to fix the PSN error.
