IT House learned that BYD’s 7,000-vehicle dual-fuel car carrierThe total length is 200 meters and the molded width is 38 meterswith a design draft of 9 meters and a design speed of 18.5 knots,Natural gas (LNG)/oil dual fuel propulsion systemto meet the requirements of intelligent ships, equipped with battery systems and shaft generators for the first time, and adopt various energy-saving measures such as energy-saving devices, drag-reducing anti-fouling paint, etc.

GSI said,This order is the first car carrier ordered by BYD Group as the final cargo ownerThis will break the long-standing “stuck neck” situation of European shipping companies and ensure the stability of BYD’s new energy vehicle export supply.

According to the data, BYD will sell a total of 1,868,543 vehicles in 2022.With a year-on-year increase of 152.5%, it ranked first in the global sales of new energy vehicles. As BYD’s first model for the global market, BYD ATTO 3 will export a total of 40,014 units in 2022.
