AMD processor roadmap exposure, Ryzen 7000 X3D series is coming



IT House reported on September 30 that AMD’s processor roadmap for 2023 seems to have been exposed. According to a picture released by Twitter user benson60843125,Ryzen 7000 X3D series is coming.

As can be seen from the figure, the Threadripper 5000 series will continue until Mid to late 2023which was previously rumored to be codenamed “Storm Peak” for the next-generation thread-ripper.

In addition, after AMD releases the Ryzen 7000 processor, the new model will be sold with the Ryzen 5000 series.The page on the roadmap is markedRyzen 7000 X3D Seriesbut is listed as TBA (to be announced)we can look forward to it.

The bottom shows that the AMD Ryzen G series is also expected to be updated next year, which is likely to be the Ryzen 7000G series, and the picture is not full. but,AMD also appears to be keeping some 4000/5000G series until mid to late 2023so AMD clearly hasn’t said goodbye to the AM4 socket.

IT House previously reported that, according to Tom’s Hardware, the Threadripper PRO 7000 series processor codenamed “Storm Peak”, and now a 64-core engineering sample is being tested, and its identification code is “AuthenticAMD AMD Eng Sample: 100-000000454-20_Y [Family 25 Model 24 Stepping 1]”, no further performance data is currently available.
